Scope and responsible service
This policy applies to freealgebrasolver.com and its calculator, article, and policy routes. “Free Algebra Solver,” “the site,” and “we” refer to the operator of this independent educational project. No separate mobile application, account system, classroom dashboard, or newsletter is covered because those services are not currently offered.
Do not enter names, email addresses, school records, health information, credentials, or other personal information into the algebra box. The input is intended only for mathematical notation.
Information processed when you use the site

Storage and retention
The application does not create an account record or write algebra problems to a project database. The server processes a submitted problem to return a response. The hosting provider may retain technical access or security logs under its own operational schedules; this project does not publish a retention period it cannot independently verify.
Browser history and the consent preference remain on the device until the visitor clears them, the notice version changes, or the browser removes site data. If Analytics is accepted, Google Analytics can set first-party _ga cookies; Google documents a default lifetime of up to two years, subject to browser limits and Analytics property settings. Disabling or clearing local storage does not prevent the core calculator from solving a new problem.
Google Analytics and advertising status
The site installs Google Analytics measurement ID G-N1Y253EE2P on every production page using advanced Consent Mode. Before the Google tag can send measurement commands, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization all default to denied. In that state Google documents that Analytics cookies are not read or written, while limited measurements without cookies and consent-state signals may still be sent for basic measurement and modeling. Accepting Analytics changes analytics storage to granted; Ignore leaves it denied.
The browser loads gtag.js from googletagmanager.com and sends measurement requests to Google Analytics domains. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time to derive approximate location and discards them before the address is logged in Analytics. Google also states that it does not store the Analytics client ID when analytics storage is denied through Consent Mode.
Google AdSense support is centralized in the global integration file, but its publisher client ID is empty and no AdSense script or ad unit currently loads. Advertising consent does not by itself activate ads. Before AdSense is enabled, the site must add its verified publisher ID, review placements and disclosures, update the consent version when appropriate, and use a Google-certified consent management platform where Google requires one for personalized ads in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
Children, schools, and sensitive information
The site provides general-audience educational information and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. No account, profile, direct messaging feature, or behavioral advertising system is currently provided by the application.
Students should enter only algebra. Parents, teachers, and schools should not submit student names, identifiers, grades, individualized education information, or other protected records. The site is not offered as a school-contracted student-record system.
Your choices and privacy requests
The first consent message offers Ignore, Customize, and Accept Cookies. Ignore keeps Analytics and advertising storage denied. Customize provides separate Analytics and Advertising choices, while Accept Cookies grants both optional categories. The Cookie settings control in every page footer lets a visitor change or withdraw those choices later. Withdrawing Analytics consent updates Google Consent Mode and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies created for this domain.
You can also clear recent problems through the calculator, clear all site data through browser settings, block local storage, or stop using the service. Browser privacy controls may limit cookies or other storage used by hosting infrastructure.
Privacy rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Send a privacy request to freealgebraresolver@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line and enough information to identify the issue. Do not email passwords, student records, identification documents, or unrelated sensitive information.
Policy updates
Material changes will be reflected by the effective date and, when appropriate, the changelog. A date is not changed merely to make the page look fresh. Continued use after an update is governed by the revised notice to the extent permitted by applicable law.
