How to read this changelog
Entries describe the user-visible outcome rather than every internal file edit. A release date indicates when the project change was prepared and published through the current workflow. It is not a guarantee that every visitor’s cache or hosting edge updated at the same instant.
Correctness changes should state the affected problem family when known. Policy entries should identify a substantive practice or disclosure change rather than merely announce rewritten wording.
July 25, 2026 — Publication quality and performance audit
Improved accessible names and touch targets for calculator actions, strengthened dark-theme action contrast, corrected the Accessibility page title and contact guidance, and removed calculator rich-result markup that lacked eligible review data. No ratings or reviews were invented to satisfy a search feature.
Reduced the shared icon font to the glyphs the site actually uses, stopped content pages from downloading calculator-only JavaScript, deferred below-the-fold learning sections, added the correct web-manifest media type, and expanded automated checks for metadata, loading behavior, security headers, accessibility, consent controls, and mobile interaction.
July 24, 2026 — Consent controls and optional analytics
Added one global integration file for site-wide Analytics, future AdSense configuration, and future shared scripts. Google Analytics is installed on every production page using advanced Consent Mode, while default signals deny Analytics and advertising storage before the Google tag receives measurement commands.
Added Ignore, Customize, and Accept Cookies actions, separate Analytics and Advertising preferences, a persistent Cookie settings control in the footer, versioned local consent storage, mobile and dark-theme layouts, and matching Privacy and Cookie Notice disclosures. AdSense remains inactive until a verified publisher client ID and compliant consent-platform setup are supplied.
July 24, 2026 — LCM and ratio calculators
Added dedicated LCM and Ratio calculator routes to the shared workspace and calculator directory. LCM accepts two to eight positive integers, exposes every prime factorization, selects maximum required exponents for the LCM and minimum shared exponents for the companion GCD, then verifies both results against every input.
Ratio mode simplifies two to six nonnegative quantities, including exact fractions and terminating decimals. It clears denominators, divides every part by the greatest common factor, rebuilds the original whole-number ratio as verification, and displays proportional bars plus equivalent ratios.
July 24, 2026 — Exact fractions, evaluation, and graphing
Added three functional calculator modes to the shared workspace: exact fraction arithmetic with lowest-term steps and visual fraction models, polynomial evaluation at an assigned x-value with term-by-term substitution, and interactive polynomial graphing with adjustable coordinate windows.
Graph data now comes from exact normalized coefficients and includes selected linear or quadratic intercept, slope, axis, and vertex analysis. The graph curve is explicitly described as sampled visual evidence rather than an exact proof. Added dedicated calculator routes, method-first learning guides, authoritative references, SEO checks, and solver fixtures for the new capabilities.

Expanded the methodology, accuracy, about, privacy, cookies, terms, contact, accessibility, editorial, disclaimer, author, and changelog pages with page-specific explanations, effective dates, tables of contents, related resources, and reviewed references. The Contact page now publishes the project support email, and the separate AI-use page was consolidated into the Editorial Policy.

Added a 423-case deterministic and generated solver audit covering equations, inequalities, quadratics, absolute-value branches, transformations, malformed input, and capability boundaries. Large-number arithmetic now stops with a safe range message instead of overflowing, absolute-value equations accept constant fractional targets, and factoring extracts a GCF before supported linear or quadratic factors and verifies the resulting product.
Expanded all six algebra articles with additional worked guidance, common learner questions, at least seven teaching sections, two reviewed educational references, contextual calculator links, and stronger automated metadata, authorship, source, and content-depth checks.

Replaced generic tool-page copy with more than 6,400 words of distinct method-first guidance across nine calculators. Added worked examples, formulas, six focused FAQs per route, reviewed OpenStax references, contextual internal links, and matching visible structured data.
